Choose a federal career – Internships

This is a special issue on federal government internship opportunities. In spite of what you hear in the news these days, the federal government is still an excellent career choice. Federal job opportunities are nation-wide and some opportunities are global.

Please pass along this notice to those looking for a challenging career.

Just a quick search- Here’s a list on USA Jobs, just by searching for internships –

Something you may not know about – We spoke about the Pathways program in our book “We Are Not the Enemy: Restoring Honor to U.S. Civil Service.” The Pathways Program is an excellent way for college students and graduates to enter into federal service.

Here’s the link on USA Jobs about the program –

Another excellent program is at The Department of Transportation which is entitled the Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG). The application period for these jobs is currently closed but is expected to re-open in November.

November will come faster than you think. Check out the description of the program and mark your calendar for the next application period.

Feel free to share other opportunities here in the comments.
